FAQ

FAQ

Are chiropractic adjustments painful?

No. In almost all cases there is no pain associated with chiropractic adjustments. In fact most patients feel immediate pain relief and an increase in range of motion, not to mention other benefits. In a small percentage of patients there may be some slight pain or soreness during and after the treatment. This is due to that fact that their area of concern is highly inflamed. Usually some intermittent icing following the chiropractic adjustment will take care of this mild soreness.

What are the benefits of chiropractic care and physiotherapy?

Obviously pain relief is a major concern for many of our patients and both are excellent in helping to reduce pain. Additional benefits are improved range of motion, improved immune function, decreased tension in the neck and shoulders, stress reduction, better joint strength and stability, improved coordination and the list goes on.

How long do I have to come for chiropractic treatment?

It depends on your condition and your goals. We offer three types of care in the office. Relief care is three treatments per week for three weeks. Functional correction or “as near normal as possible care” is three times per week for nine weeks at which point we will reexamine and reassess the patients status. The last is wellness care and we have several extremely affordable plans to choose from. We want our patients to get healthy then stay healthy. Chiropractic should be the foundation for everyone’s health routine.

Does my insurance pay for chiropractic and physiotherapy?

We are providers for most insurance plans and coverage is specific to your policy. Please be aware that insurance is geared towards crisis care most policies have deductibles and copayments associated with them. We will do our best to verify your insurance coverage; however we cannot be responsible for errors in information given by your insurance company. Your account in the office is ultimately your responsibility. Many of our patients choose to operate under one of our wellness programs in the office which are extremely affordable. This insures (pardon the pun) that you get no surprises.

This usually takes 24 hours at which time you would return for a report of your findings and recommendations for care.

Worst case scenario your first visit would cost $179. Best case scenario $79. If you have insurance you will be using in the office it may be less than $79.
